To everyone wondering. Yes we hope for Tegra X2 Pascal for a stronger system that will get full support throughout its life cycle, but we had to fully report on the EuroGamer "findings" in order to show the contradictions: Nvidia's October official press release + Unreal Engine 4 titles slated for the Switch.

Anyway let us hope the rumor mill stops for now until the Switch presentation on January 12th (13th in Europe and Japan). (And we realised the 2 Teraflop blunder, it is supposed to be 1, 5 in between Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

I am so tired of people talking about spec rumors, especially Eurogamer rumors. Also, who cares what the specs are? if it sells, the specs are irrelevant.

If you think Switch will have a large HDD you are out of your mind. That part of the video seemed uninformed. Nintendo Switch is going to use microSD cards. I saw a 500gb microSD card at wal-mart for $50 yesterday. Honestly using a HDD in a console makes zero sense anyway, I guarantee the 32GB inside of Switch is solid-state, which means super fast loading. No more swapping out HDDs in consoles, it's all about cartridge format.

Look at the fucking size of this thing. A small portable gaming system that can delivery the same game experiences of a regular console on the go for a reasonable price and people are concerned about specs? who cares if the graphic will be a little worse if the games can run good enough I'm totally OK with it, I already have beautiful graphics on my 980. Switch is offering practicality and portability.

To get 3rd party support the Switch doesn't need superior specs. It needs gamers. Lots of gamers. Nintendo players typically never go for the graphics, they're more interested in gameplay. What Nintendo needs to do is to pump the system with lots of good games to make a large amount of people interested in acquiring the system. Then, it doesn't matter if the Switch will be able to handle the same games that the PC, XBOX One or PS4 will have. Because it would have a large base of consumers, it might as well receive exclusive 3rd party games of its own.
3rd parties need money, what they don't need is being commited to the (costly) production of large scale AAA titles to satisfy a few gamers with sophisticated taste here and there.

@4:20 the docking station does not provide processing power it only allows the chip to run it full clocks because battery life won't be an issue in this mode.

you buy your own sd cards, which is what nintendo been allowing its buyers to do for years. im sure you can also attach a hdd to the switch dock, being it has usb ports too. anyway, as a PC gamer having a handheld console more powerful than the 3ds and vita is enough for me.
