THE STORY OF THIS SONG

Osman is a young man about 14-15 years old. The Ottoman Army will go to Baghdad to conquer it. He goes to register but the officier who is responsible says that he can't register a young man, to register him, a comb must stay on the moustache but he doesn't even got a moustache. He takes a comb from his waistband and stabs to his upper mouth. The man affected and accepted him to army. Osman was the first man to open the gate of Bagdad and put the flag inside. He died during the war in Bagdad.

The song was written in 1534 in honor of Young Osman to pay him respect and immortalise him for his courage in being the first soldier to storm through the gates and hoist the Turkish flag on the city gate. Baghdad was the most important city in the Middle East at that time and very difficult to conquer.
