Yes! Love this stuff. Some points to add:
- This is sold under a million names because it's not patented. The actual name of the material itself is 'polycaprolactone'. Helps with searching for it
- It can really stick well to certain other plastics, especially when it's really hot. I was worried for you, feel like you kinda got lucky not to end up with a permanent blob on your castle door!
- It's pretty strong, you can really build stuff with it. My favourite trick with that is, if your part needs screws or bolts, you can wrap it around them and when it cools you've got perfect threaded holes right there

Fun story: my youngest brother (12) got some of this to make faux fangs for Halloween and went ahead and did it without supervision, , and encased his entire bottom row of teeth WITH braces and was unable to get it off. We had to go to the ER, who then sent us to the orthodontist where they had to use a diamond bit dremel to carve the plastic out.
