It's one thing to love kittens over grown cats, but it's mental to try to convince everyone that kittenhood is somehow is the only normal state of a cat and they should always be like this

They keep telling people who live in "developing" countries that their capitalism is wrong, and once they've established the "right" form of capitalism (without corruption), they'll "develop". They tell people they need a new president, a new PM, etc. Where in fact, this IS the right capitalism. This IS how it works. For a few countries to prosper, the rest should be deprived of their wealth.

Michael Hudson is awesome and I value Ben Norton. However, I am disappointed that they are associating themselves so strongly with Radhika Desai, who is a Trotsky inspired academic that promotes multi-polarity as a form of power politics - what one might describe as a power of the many against the few. I fear this is an insidious diversion from true revolutionary politics which is surely more aligned with the view of multi-polarity as anti-power politics based on win-win association not zero-sum power politics. I think she is being allowed to promote herself with Ben’s help as being closer to Michael Hudson than she should be. Just my opinion but it concerns me. No wonder a major publisher provides her book free of charge! And even Penguin almost gave her a contract.

Unfortunately, the opposite of capitalism is communism, and it has an even worse record than capitalism so what wolf needs to argue is what his is other choices which has to lead to communism or socialism, which is equally as bad
