Abigail, even though you say don't breed, it is important to breed sometimes, though i agree that you shouldn't breed excessively, or for colors until you are at least at lvl 15.

In breeding the coats actually are not randomised, the horses have hidden genes that can effect their offspring.
This might not be in desktop yet but it is on mobile,

I've found when hiring a jockey on queen Victoria that you can almost always win on the first and second race but anything higher u dont

Amazing tips Abi! Tho it is harder to play on moblie since you have 2 different curencies and max how many times you can race untill energy is gone (if you dont buy energy). Also, on mobile you cant create Costume horses (maybe they will add it).
