A Biblical look at some of the ELCA's Teachings

I have a sincere desire for those in this church to wake up, and know the Lord for real. If you go to this church, please heed this warning, this church is teaching just the opposite of what the bible says. Why waste your time? What did Jesus come to do? what has he said in scripture? If you don't care to know the truth, then going to a church that makes up whatever it wants about the real Jesus Then continue wasting your time, But if Truth matters, Read you bibles for yourself, and see that these teachers are teaching falsely.

I was ELCA until they went woke about 10 years ago. We had some great pastors back then and they retired after Bishop Hanson stirred them into this.

My family escaped the ELCA 20 years ago. Our last generation had 3 ALC Lutheran ministers (including my dad). As Christians, we must be vigilant to identify apostasy and find churches who tech the Bible!

As a member as an ELCA church in rural Iowa, we thankfully don't see any of this. Scripture is the only thing we work from.

The Holy Spirit has led me back to the church where I grew up, which morphed into ELCA, and I was shocked to learn about the wicked ELCA agenda! He (not "she"!) (the Holy Spirit) is leading me to members who are open to God's word, and I am able to plant seeds of God's word into various individuals. Others can't see why we can't have a homosexual pastor, since we are in search of a new pastor now. I'm on the "call committee" and am in the minority because I stand firm on God's word as expressed in the Holy Bible.
If you think of it, please pray for me. I need God's wisdom in standing up for His Truth. So many of these people will miss their salvation if they truly embrace the messages being promoted in the weekly sermons. Their souls are at stake. Some members don't even understand why we need the Bible today. My sister calls me a "missionary" to this congregation. I love these people, as I've known many since childhood.
I pray in the sanctuary during the week--on a weekly basis, if I can--interceding and asking the Holy Spirit to reach them, to touch their hearts, to come and work among them.
We need to get out of the ELCA, but the people don't see it. Not yet. Please, we need your prayers. (God knows which congregation it is.)

I'm trying with a few others to get our Church to leave the ELCA. I really think that this is why we are failing. God wants better for us, and if that means closing the Church maybe that is the answer. I don't want it to be since I've been there so long. I hope they change. I want people to wake up.

The ELCA is dying, and there are many reasons. The Holy Spirit has left them, because of the heresy and unbiblical teachings of late, that spews from the mouths of their leaders. In three words...God isn’t there.

You actually showed a frog being boiled alive?! Good grief....not all people in the ELCA have the same views on biblical inerrancy, inspiration, and authority. Please, when you speak to someone who is a member of this church: ask them what their views are before assuming that these pastors are representative of all members. Thanks :-)

"If God is so concerned with us feeling pleasure...." This is called a straw man argument. Bible doesn't teach it and certainly not average Christians like conservative Lutheran's, Baptists, evangelicals, charismatics...I don't know who does but I'm sure you can find individual examples. You can find individuals who will say lots of cooky things.
