Development and Production Notes:

Photos used in Marina Kaatrae Song was taken almost a decade ago. The principle promotional photography was taken for our debut film titled 'Ambikapathy Laila'. The title was officially registered in TFPC - Tamil Film Producers Council, Chennai as well as in WGA West - Writers Guild of America, West, CA, USA. Due to various reasons we had to stop our film pre-production and the production was indefinitely postponed. In 2013 we had to give away the title 'Ambikapathy' to the Tamil Remake of the Hindi Film Raanjhanaa directed by Mr. Aanandh L Rai, starring Actors Mr. Danush and Ms. Sonam Kapoor, with music by Mr. AR Rahman. The Tamil version of Raanjhaana was titled Ambikapathy. The request for NOC was made to 'Meeran Theatres' by M/s. Wunderbar Films Pvt. Ltd, Chennai.
Importantly, we had to mention about our official photographer, today a celebrity photographer and ambassador for Sony Cam Mr. Karthik Sreenivasan. Almost after a decade the photos taken by him looks latest and trendy with precision color and resolution
The Song was Composed by Mr. Gurprasad Subramanian during pre-covid times and was written by Mr.Amjath Meeran. When Amjath decided to connect the Expressions of the Photos with that of the Lyrics and above all, the tune of Marina Kaatrae it was apt to compose a lyrical video song to celebrate Madras-Day 2024. As the song is all about the face of Chennai, the Beach of Love - Marina Beach.
