Spanninga has won the German Design Award with their HALO INDICATOR rear ligh

Spanninga celebrates a momentous win as their HALO INDICATOR wins the coveted German Design Award 2024 in the category of “Excellent Product Design”.

The German Design Council, renowned globally for its expertise in design, brand, and innovation, has awarded the HALO INDICATOR. The jury has chosen the HALO INDICATOR as a winner because the light offers a visibility range of up to 500m, while the integrated blinker ensures additional safety on the road due to its conventionally operated handlebar switch.

Spanninga’s HALO INDICATOR is a carrier rearlight, part of the HALO series, featuring a unique and ultra-compact design with smooth organic lines and an integrated Z-reflector. The HALO INDICATOR features an innovative and ground-breaking feature: built-in turning indicators. Paired effortlessly via Bluetooth with the wireless handlebar switch SW009, cyclists can activate the built-in turning indicator, signaling which direction they’re headed. This adds an extra layer of safety to the cycling routine by showing other road users where you’re going, without having to remove your hands from the handlebars.
