Hey Patrick. Thanks for a great informative video. So good you have repaired this original rubber mat. I also Keep used bicycle tubes for different repaires😊. I usually use super glue Type of glue for rubber stuff. Those rubber mats in the trunk are better than fabric carpets. When a liquid spills you can easily clean it. I have a nice one from some mercedes which i carry in the wagon compartment. Very convenient when carrying dirty stuff.

Making your own brush = Master Level. What sort of hairs do you use ? I watched a guy who used a flat faced hammer to gently pound the two surfaces after joining to get maximum bond strength. Why is it that I always join my two adherends too quickly - maybe only after five minutes. Probably I am impatient.
