Thanks for the refresher course. THIS WILL NOT WORK IN SHUFFLE MODE. Also you can use timeline location rather than a selected clip. For example: You can tab to transient and sync another clip based on where the cursor landed.

How do you align the sync points on two tracks in Windows? I am using Pro Tools First, version 2018.4.0.
