I live in California, San Francisco to be specific. I was stabbed in San Jose and the dude got one year and a 250 dollar restitution to me! Years later and i find out he was out in SIX MONTHS and still have yet to get my restitution. Sickening that this dude gets five years.

I am always surprised when you can get a felony charge and 10years in federal prison for a piece of plastic or metal, while rapist and sex offenders get released early for good behavior or put on probation after harming another person. Sick world we live in…..

I have had civil forfeiture happen to me in 2008, they took a payed off nice car and 5, 700 in cash. They never charged me with a crime but took my belongings, wrote me a receipt of what they took and a week later I get a letter in the mail asking if I wanted to go to court to get my assets back. I replied yes, and wanted a jury, not just a judge. They then said that they filed my paper work wrong, I never got a jury. They are literal badge pirates, it sickens me to my core.

That was the day I lost faith in our legal system. If you want to win you have to either play dirty or jump through a million hoops. And it’s going to cost money/time (time is money) lots of money.
