Rails, trapdoors, and powdered snow are considered full blocks and are not taken into consideration when pathfinding as the AI assumes it can walk on the block which is why trapdoors work for mob farms. The AI also doesn't take into account either damaging block or anything related to redstone. Good video though

About the last one. If all piston were activités they would most likely jump over it right? There they dont because they see unactivated pistons as a better path I believe. But if there is none they'll just jump the block right?
