My hubby served in Nam from 67-69 until his tank was hit with an rpg during the Tet offensive. His driver and commander were blown completely out and my hubby caught the rim of the turret with his heels and was able to stay in the tank. He was covered in shrapnel and had his ears blown out. When he was discharged, he joined the navy for two more years. He passed three years ago from agent orange damage to his heart, so yes...Vietnam finally killed him. Rest in peace, Denny. Youre my hero💜

His name is Jesse Ventura. He’s now 72. At 20 he was 6’4” 245lbs and definitely the man you wanted fighting for the USA. We need to honor men like Jesse, and all those willing to fight and die when others won’t.

My dad entered the Navy at 14 years old. His father lied and said he was 16. He did his tour in the pacific ocean and South China Sea. He was a great dad! He served with pride.
