Bought one of these and was disappointed - went to clone ID48 transponder and it says not activated - contact dealer or use self service. It shows red for ID48 in licensing with the option to "activate" but trying to do so takes you to a "mall" where there is no option to activate or even purchase a license.
The adverts for this are misleading because the screenshots on the listings show ID48 in the photo.
I only purchased it aswell as some remotes and transponders just to clone two VW Crafter (ID48 VW TP23) transponders and i seemingly can't do that.
Why even sell it with additional VW TP23 type keys bundled in the package if you can't do them with this tool?
Confused and disappointed.
Found it hard to navigate the app to try and find out why and can't get any reliable information.
This isn't really a viable option for DIY users wanting to just make a few keys if you can't use ID48.

Hi, I'm trying clone my original key so then I can have 2 keys for my car and after codify the remote and the chip I cannot use the clone key because it will make my original key stop. Is normal that happens ?
