#AcornGivesBack - The Vivian Family

In this episode of #AcornGivesBack, we travel to Oaks, PA to install two #Acorn #stairlifts for the Vivian family. Steve and Becky Vivian, and their children have faced seemingly unsurmountable odds over the past seven years. Their two youngest children, Eli and Ella, have a very rare and progressive condition known as MLD (Metachromatic leukodystrophy). This is a condition which results in the destruction of the white matter of the brain, and results in deterioration of intellectual functions and motor skills, such as the ability to walk.

There currently is no cure.
