I am still pkaying BOTW on the Wii U, as it woukd cost me over 600 bucks to move from tne U with all my U games, to a switch with the same games, so i make look into emulation on the deck.

If you want 1080p on the deck you have to play in desktop mode. Might perform horrid tbh

there is no reason to play this on deck if you have a switch. sure, the deck can get close to 30fps, but in handheld mode you can get a fully stable 60fps on the switch with mods. pretty big gap.

OLED Switch is way better than steamdeck. Valve needs an oled or just better display. I was very disappointed in the display on my steam deck.
