This address discusses the drug war in America on heroin and on ice in Australia. Addiction and social isolation are discussed as well as measures to counteract addiction.

Rosie enjoys public speaking, particularly when discussing topical issues, an interest which has lead her to pursue activities such as Debating and Model UN. At Brisbane Girls Grammar School she is Debating Captain and Arts Captain and has represented her school at an International Youth Forum in China.

I love this speech. I actually gave a similar speech in my public speaking class just a couple days before this came out. She did a much better job though.

I love this young lady. Fear is the root cause of the war on anything. When society fears something they react with power control and violence. That leads to non rational based solutions. What society fears most is chaos disrupting their orderly society. The opposite of chaos is control. How you control is the key. The Swiss controlled the addicts with a control drug and a controlled environment. The ignorant american approach to everything
is control with prison violence and isolation. What bothers me most isn't our current system but our excruciatingly slow learning curve to change and adapt to a better mouse trap (no pun). It is like beating a dead horse.
