At the risk of sounding melodramatic, I was feeling very down in the dumps recently. Was struggling just to go out to the shops. My friend had a couple of tickets to see TWOD playing in Brighton. I had seen them play many times before and loved them. I was going to cancel due to my mood but I didn’t want to let my friend down. We drove down from London and were right up at the front when they came on. I lost myself in their music for 90 plus mins and felt an elation I hadn’t felt in a long time. We left the gig and we were both buzzing. Since that day, I’m feeling so much more positive. Seeing this video and seeing the joy on the faces of the beautiful Glastonbury crowd just makes me happy to be alive. Music ❤

It's unhealthy how many times I've watched this. One of the best performances of their favorite song of mine

Everything about this is so, so good. Glastonbury, the sun setting, the crowd, the music, the band. It’s just a bloody glorious 7+ minutes.

I had the absolute privilege of being there and witnessing this. The War on Drugs got me through some tough times. Going through cancer treatment, not knowing if I would make it, I would listen to Red Eyes every night like a ritual singing me to sleep. It gave me such strength to go on. I vowed that when I got well, I would see them live. So I was elated to get tickets to see them play Ally Pally when I recovered, but then my husband was seriously ill in hospital so we had to cancel. This summer, 9 years on since they sang me to sleep, we happened to be working at Glastonbury and were so happy to see the line up. We watched legendary Cat Stevens and then it seemed like everyone at the festival was heading to the pyramid stage to watch Elton’s final show. Everyone except us!As we made our way in the opposite direction, against the crowd to the Other Stage we couldn’t believe our eyes. We walked right to the front of the stage. It felt like these guys were playing especially for us and as the sun set, a golden light engulfed us and they played the most euphoric, life affirming set we’ve ever experienced. Watching them felt like flying. We’d waited all these years, and here we were, happy and healthy with the greatest band on the planet transmitting us to another dimension! I love watching this back. It takes me to that moment and always brings happy tears to my eyes. I know that whatever happens in the future. No matter how difficult times might get. I will always have this beautiful memory to look back on. Thank you from the bottom of my heart The War on Drugs, you guys are truly the best.

Quietly one of the greatest Glastonbury moments ever. How they draw the crowd in and they all explode into dancing after the breakdown and build. Makes me well up every time I watch it. What live music and outdoor festivals are all about

I like how much fun the drummer is having. So many musicians put on their game face and this dude is just having a great time.

After years of wanting to die due to struggling with chronic disease and pain this video makes me want to live. Pure joy!

I've played drums for 44 years and observe that Charlie Hall has evolved into a smiling monster. But the "Mr. Fun" visage is only that -- beneath it, the dude will coldly, bloodlessly, remorselessly deliver the goods every time. I deeply admire great players who remember it can be fun.

Up there as one of the best live bands in the world, consistently fucking phenomenal and so underrated. The way they build a song is unreal.

*_It's a shame this great band wasn't featured more prominently than some of the utter garbage that was overly promoted and on the main_* *_stage - Such a gifted, underrated band ..._*

I had the privildge of being there. Easily the best live experience of my life. They had the entire crowd completely spellbound. I still watch this all the time. Pure joy. That's me in the front row in the very first shot, grinning my face off lol

A brilliant band. Thanks to my 32 year old son, he's introduced me to a lot of great bands in the last little while like The War On Drugs. I'm 67 and my teen years were listening to prog rock music. It's still my favourite type of music and my son likes a lot of bands I listen to. People of my age seem to criticize the music of today. Sure, there is some pretty crap music out there, but there is a lot of great music as well.

Its very rare you get a rock band who can make a "Drop" like at 4.56 minutes in.
the build up is stunning, when it drops they have the entire crowed in their hands, i cant help smile whilst watching it.
New favourite band.

Never seen Adam let the vocals rip like this and I can’t get enough. Never would’ve thought that the slower opening track back in 2014 would become the high energy highlight of their concerts it is now. Can’t wait for the next time I see them.

The most uplifting Glastonbury 2023 clip. The song has meaning, but ultimately it is about connection. The band, the crowd, the setting. Seems everyone is having a fantastic experience. Absolutely the best.

To be fair not many Glasto highlights make me stop and think 'I wish I was there' but this is incredible. The sound, the crowd, even the camerawork, the shot of the silhouette of the drummer with the sun setting behind (4:46) before the drop.... outrageous!

This is just one of those epic sunset performances at Glastonbury that I keep revisiting. Everyone is just so joyful you can feel it pouring out of the video. If I want to go back to Glast for a moment then this ticks the box without question.

I saw these followed by queens of the Stone Age on the same stage instead of Elton John. Best decision I’ve ever made
