Emotional track. I read in his biography that he did this song in one take. The man is a legend. I had a dream about him the other day and he was living nice in another world.

He's been gone for over 40 years now,
like his words "Jah Lives"
His spirit and soul forever lives.
My children and grandchildren and children so on and so on in time to come will forever love his music.
Close your eyes block your ears and listen with your heart ❤️🙏🏻

A person is his/her experience and personality, and given Bob Marley experience/struggle as well as his compassion and love, no one can duplicate Marley, not even his children no matter how great their imagination since they didn't have experience in that era that Bob Marley lived. Bob song was from his heart. He felt what he was singing and wanted the world to be a better place. A person is his/her experience, personality, intelligence and his or her character.

one of my all time Bob Marley favorite. Brings back soooo many good memories of growing up in the islands and spending evenings on the beach. Good times and you really don't appreciate it until it's gone.

Fools sayin' in their heart
Rasta your God is dead
But I and I know Jah! Jah!
Dreaded it shall be dreaded and dread

The song was originally supposed to be for the Natty Dread Album, but was scrapped and only released as a single, tho Marley performed it live on rare occasions, as he normally did with certain songs, It was later released Rastaman Vibration Remastered & Deluxe Special Edition as well as on several compilation albums. This song was recorded and released within days following the announcement of the assasination of Haile Selassie I, Bob wrote song as a message to the world that Haile Selassie I had not died since the government of Ethiopian at the time and detractors of the Rastafarian religion thought. Marley directly confronts those who doubted the Rastafari movement due to the death of Selassie I. As said in the lyrics

Fools sayin' in their heart
Rasta your God is dead
But I and I know Jah! Jah!
Dreaded it shall be dreaded and dread.

This song was only performed 3 times By Bob!!

Calling all Bob Marley fans in the United States! Our country is in a serious crisis, it is more severe than what many want to believe. If you comprehend the music of Bob Marley and The Wailers, if the messages within the lyrics relate to you, then surely the experience has opened up your soul and expanded your mind. Please take some time to look into Dr. Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka 2016 presidential campaign. They are representatives of the peaceful revolution that has already begun. We the citizens of planet Earth demand global peace! Spread LOVE not war!

This song make me remember when i was at the Dub Corner in Dour Festival last year, it was during RegggaebusSoundsystem set, he says that one of their friend was no longer of this world, and they dedicated this song to him, that's affected me so much.

The truth is an offence
But not a sin
Is he who laugh last, children
Is he who win
Is a foolish dog
Bark at the flying bird
