Great Video - what time lapse setting have you found works best with the egg timer. Maybe show some examples?

Most of the time I use the .5 sec delay and a low resolution for the photos. I find if you make the delay much longer it will appear to rotate to fast.

Suggestion:  using epoxy or other strong adhesive, attach a 1/4-20 nut to the bottom of the timer.  The center of the nut would be in line with the hole.  I think this would add some strength to the attach point.

Anything over 1 sec usually creates a choppy turn! I'd still use full resolution though!

Sorry I did not added any I have some but it is not currently put together as a video. I will try to get some up but in the mean time look up GoPro time lapse on rotating base.

is it possible to drill the hole with a 1/4 by 20 drill bit or is it necessary to use a tap?
