In mexico the worship of this figure it's mostly among middle low class to people who live in poverty with very little academic education (that happens to be a lot of people) that labor in the informal economy and the illegal economy which in mexico happens to be very big (around 25 billion of dollars)A big part of the population in jails or with criminal records or its followers.
