Better shelter for refugees in Greece

Since October 2016, more than 4,000 refugees have moved from tents to prefabricated houses, installed by UNHCR in 8 refugee sites across Greece, with the support of the European Commission – Humanitarian Aid. In one of these sites, in Philippiada, Western Greece, everyday life for refugee families has become easier after they moved from tents to residential containers, at the beginning of November 2016.
