I’ve found that the only chemicals worthy of unstopping a pipe, you can’t buy over the counter. That’s some sort of sulfuric acid, muriatic acid, or caustic soda. The ones I use are clobber which is sulfuric acid and I’m blanking on the name but it’s good for mineral build up. It’s good on cement in pipes and urinals. However chemicals should be the last resort. It’s always better to use a snake first. Especially one tubs/showers and lavatories. Lavatories you can pull the pop up and clean it and that gets it lost if the time. If not pull the trap. Ok showers, a hand crank snake will unstop it 99% of the time because it’s usually hair between the drain and trap. You can get a rigid hand crank shower snake for $30-40. It’ll also work on a lavatory. Its also reusable so you’ll save money over chemicals in the long run

The sonic-ish music in the background is fantastic.

Crystal heat is what we used to always use for our shower when I was younger. Always worked great but my husband is freaked out by it and won’t use it.

So much for the brass finish once it's plugged call the plumber. All day long you could have got that with a plunger

I use a 100ft snake and just run it through as much as needed. Never really have to do more then run 30ft usually for bad buildup in pipes but every once in awhile you got to run that 100ft line with additives and give it a good look with the scope

I like to use zep crystal heat on the drain at my hotel. That being said it does smoke a lot and heats up the drain as it destroys the organic material inside the piping. But I’d really like to test this stuff that you’re using it looks great! Especially if it doesn’t produce a whole ton of smoke lol, because I’ll tell you what right now it smells foul when it starts blooming out of the drain 😂

Just be careful because we tried some thing like that in our old home and it burned right through the pipe

You are suppose to wait for water to drain as much as possible before pouring that thing
