Build 105 – Transcend: Visual Effects Workstation

Transcend is a visual effects workstation. This build is designed around a 24-core Threadripper 3960X processor and an RTX A6000 48GB video card.

This customer needed a powerful new workstation to better handle working from home. He also wanted something strong enough to not need major updates for several years, but capable of handling various upgrades if they became necessary. This system is designed in particular for Unreal Engine, Maya, 3DS Max, Houdini, and Substance.

This build influenced The Berserker.
