Reducing the mass will decrease the time it takes to burn up when it enters the atmosphere.

Been saying that there is a renewed interest in Nasa's and private space launches in the last couple of years. My family looks at this sky watcher like um, ok but I truly think: "Something wicked this way comes", and within the next few years to decades hehe.
