I have a bulldog for 10 years. Trained him and won an obedience show with him once. He was amazing but I got grays training him, he was stubborn as hell. Food is the ultimate motivator.

Bro IS SPOT ON. My brother in-law was TRAINER FOR DOGS THAT HANDLE SPECIAL NEEDS. He always told me that dogs are motivated or not. You may have to work more with other's. My bully looks at me like I got 10HEADS. I GOT THAT VOICE I SHOW LOVE AND ITS WORKING. That's man I follow along cuz...

My dog and I have a strong Bond, he is almost human. Turns on my light when I get home, bring my shoes etc.. They more than just dogs, they are little peoples. However we don't train dogs, you can't, its their nature to be what they are but, they train us to do what they want us to do. In reality, you training yourself to know how to handle the dog but the dog is who it is. Never changes.
