I never tire of stackoverflow slander, I've been relying a lot on chatGPT + programming discord channels for coding help recently because of my terrible experiences on that site. The people in those discord servers are a 100 times more helpful and friendly than most of the SO super users. I remember one time where I asked what I thought was a decent question, and kept getting snarky responses and unhelpful responses, til this one rando with 1 reputation answered my question in 3 sentences that completely solved my problem.

No wonder they banned ChatGPT responses from stack overflow. It was both helpful and kind to a noob, and that goes against everything stack overflow stands for!

Hey Alex it's apparent this thing will assist programmers which is going to change things. If it gets better it could potentially replace programmers, but I like to code, I like solving problems, what do we do, what do we learn?

I'll still use SO for advance questions, but only looking them up. Not posting questions. Otherwise, SO is nearly dead to me. Bing with ChatGPT 4 is a far better source for beginner questions.

Inaccurate representation of Stack Overflow. ChatGPT should have came up with reasons for not answering your questions and banned you for not asking good enough questions instead of helping you.
