Robinhood Gold is only $5/month and you do need a Robinhood Gold membership to get the Robinhood Gold credit card.

Currently my direct deposits go Wells Fargo and then I transfer to RH as needed. Using WF for household operations such as auto pay (mortgage, bills, subscriptions, etc) Most of this could be done in RH.
Future state - I will have my pay checks direct deposit to RH and move some funds to WF (striving to separate 100% from WF) as needed.
I think this makes the most sense to max the gains for the 1%.
NOTE: Direct deposit to RH is only to the Spending account. The 1% applies to deposits to your brokerage account (I believe) so would require a transfer from Spending account to Brokerage.
