The Whirlwind: God's Voice, Judgement, Teleportation

This week's discussion is on some of the meanings of the whirlwind within scripture.

Thank u so so much, its 4thday now pulling all the pieces of a dream I had. This night we were praying n reading book of Nahum, getting Nahum 3.1. There everything started making sense. I had a drm where I saw a huge tall black whirlwind form of a bird in the air in a certain village swallowing other black birds much smaller, I had an idea of what was happening but was still seeking and bang proverbs 10.25 was just the missing puzzle. The Lords defends the weak from their strong oppressors. Surely He has His ways.

The whirlwind is a sign of changes and the wind is a sign of the spirit. The 4 winds are the four fold man mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. The element water is the emotional nature of man. Each element has a part in man just as it does in the world. In the eastern tradition where they wrote these scriptures they knew this stuff but we've had it taken from us.

Thanks for the video Dazzling1. I think you made some interesting points. Yes, it does seem as though the tornado in the Wizard of Oz may be alluding to whirlwinds being some kind of portal. I think I recall reading somewhere that when Christ returns, angels may utilize whirlwinds to gather up the unsaved to bring them to the place of judgement.
