wow that makes allot of sense, your rite. but I put over 60 hours in my char and have not found one great item, so that's when i turn to the auction house. and that's lame. its good that you can find great items in the console version.

You are absolutely right my friend. "Casual plague" is spreading to every game nowadays. Insane rares/legendaries drop rate should be similar what it was in vanilla d3.

I played D3 at Gamescom and I have to say: It was Act 1 Nightmare and in the 15 Minutes of Gameplay we could experience, we found 1 Legendary amulet. ^^

its takes away a special part of the game, playing and finding rare things is Way more gratifying than buying it instantly.

i got this 1h weapon with 200+ str, 1300 damage, 6% attack speed, and some crit damage too..crazy thing was it was level 53 requirement to wield so i had over 50k dps at level 55

Well, actually the quality of items doesn't really matter much, it's the randomness that does.
I've always been telling that raising the quality - like with the legendary patch - doesn't change anything in the long run. They need to take out some the randomness. Ofc this is now better on console but still, it isn't really an improvement, remember back in the days when a 900dps blue was great? The only thing that really changes is the AH, which will slow down the process of quality adjustment.

i bashed marvel heroes at first, now i see how it pretty much is the new diablo 2, it got the feel, it got alot of the same elements, especialy the item system is awesome and nice for years to come.
