Huracan vs Huracan: Lamborghini’s LP610-4 Spyder and LP580-2 Coupe go head-to-head!

You can now get the Lamborghini Huracan in more than one guise. Not only is there the standard, four-wheel drive coupe (the LP610-4), but there's the Huracan Spyder and the rear-wheel drive LP580-2!

The 580-2 is stunning and looks much nicer than the 610 styling wise. And the 580-2 from every review seems like the car Lambo should have came out with in the first place. I would take a Huracan over a 488 any day of the week.

I feel like the difference between the two could have been down to the options, not necessarily due to the model. For example, magneto rheological suspension and dynamic steering affect the feel quite a bit. The sports exhuast can make it louder.

Huracan has slowly improved overtime from 2014 to 2017. looks nicer now

The huracan spyder had comfort seats and the 580-2 had racing seats. And from what I have experienced and also seen in videos, it makes a lot of difference. So I don't think there is a difference in the ride quality, maybe I am wrong though.

RWD for me, I actually just saw a white one at a restaurant I was just at for dinner an hour ago and it as stunning as I first saw one when they came out. Sadly out of my price range, back to my BMW 3 series ...

The coupé has the sportsexhaust, it has the black exhaust tips. The spyder has the standard exhaust, that is probably why the coupé is a touch louder

i guess every Lamborghini enthusiast struggled to like the huracan when it was launched...it wasn't a fitting replacement for the Gallardo...and all the reviews said it understeerd a lot and wasn't exciting enough...but now when you see the 488, 650 or a turboS this seems so much better, looks mad of course and with that crackling exhaust it is just magnificent👌 and i too prefer the 580 over the 610...still not sure about which looks better...but one thing is sure the 580 offers the same thrills if not more as the 610 for a lot less..so yea kudos Lamborghini for making such a brilliant piece of machine🙌

What happened to the unadjustable understeer in the LP610-4? And the traction control taking power away which would make it possible to adjust it right when you needed it? Remember your first launch review of the coupe? You were not best pleased.

People also need to realize that with a 4 wheel drive car you lose about %5 more power to the wheels through the drivetrain, which would net about 30hp or the difference between the two. Probably why Steve feels that the 580 is a little bit quicker.

I am genuinely interested to know the difference in handling... the spyder for the look plus more weight is subjective to personal taste and the difference in power can easily be overcome by ecu tunes.... but does a rwd lambo v10, which has always been awd for the most part, perform better than a Ferrari rwd.

I"ve seen one of these twice now in a week and they're good looking but i thought when i would eventually see one i would have a "wow" reaction but i didn't. Those cars definitely stood out but maybe because of the internet i'm use to seeing them now?
