China suspends buying new US agricultural products, reports Chinese state media

Chinese firms will stop buying new U.S. agricultural products, according to state media. CNBC's Kayla Tausche reports.

Where does all the tariff that Americans paid goes to? Government's coffer. Then they take out a small portion and give as subsidy to these farmers. Overall winner is government. Overall losers are the people esp farmers. Yet the farmers are grateful to the govt for these subsidies which is a small part of the bounty from the trade war. Ridiculous.

The soy growers will grow something other than soy next year. Then they can sell to other countries next year. Once supplies goes down, soy prices will go up- and the economic cycles continue.
