I got this filter and I got the oiled you have to oil with a aerosol spray. Both work really good. I've washed and reused the one you have to oil 3 times already. I've had that filter for 4 years already and just bought the select model and its a hefty filter compared to the oiled one. I love both of them in different ways.

I live in an area that gets dusty winds, would the dry filter be ok or is it better to use an oiled filter?

How do I know which one is better for my application?
I bought the Trd oil filter, but the hassle of oiling compared to this seems like this would be the better route
