FFXIV OST Heavensward Hunt & Heroic Moments Theme ( Stone and Steel )

KINDA HEAVENSWARD STORY SPOILERS IN THE VIDEO.

So, I was unsure what to name this one, it plays a lot, sometimes in solo instances in the MSQ, sometimes just in cutscenes, I decided though that all these moments are heroic. IF anyone can think of a better name or phrase for it, I'd appreciate it if you left it in the comments. Cheers, and enjoy!

Worth adding that as of Stormblood, this is basically Estinien's theme.

Fun fact: One quest cutscene is timed (if you do default reading / voice acting) to this theme, so the solo trumpet occurs when "Duty Commenced" appears.

I love how they still use this theme in job quests in Stormblood. This theme will always ring, "This is it. This is what we've trained for. This is why we're here. I am a warrior of light and I will do my duty."

Having been a fan of Final Fantasy & its music for 22 years now, this tune immediately entered my Top 10 when I played through Heavensward earlier this year. What a stunner. Hats off to its composer, Masayoshi Soken.

When this plays endwalker as you meet the Ilsabard Contingent. A real "Everybody is here!" moment.

This theme has a couple of appearances in the level 60-70 DRK quest.

Most notably in the level 70 quest... Very fitting.

Orlond and Gonspart's epic slow-look and walk towards Hildibrand's party, revealing themselves to be the prestigious Grand Sers

There was definitely an epic moment when this played for the first time during the MSQ of Stormblood! I was genuinely excited to hear it and suddenly realized it's been two years of Heavensward!

Pride and Soul is what this song reminds me of. When you're doing the quest for Dark Side at level 30, this music plays while you fight for the woman, and for the voice inside of you in which is the darkness. Heavensward is amazing, thanks for bringing all the amazing themes to us brotha 😃

That moment when the guy at the level 70 dark knight quest is giving you a lecture and telling you how he was trying to make you see the error of your ways from killing people and how you are hurting those people’s lives and loved ones then fray shows up walks up to beside you and says I can’t let you fight alone don’t worry I won’t stab you in the back this time and sid turns around is like what in the seven hells is going on here and then later on before you fight sid throws his sword at fray and says I think you’re going to need a weapon
