Every single book of the new testament says that in the last days people will fall away after false leaders and doctrines, leaving what scripture says is true. And that's why Jesus talked far more about hell than love or heaven. And scripture also says anyone who leads the naive into hell, it would be better for them if they tied a rock around their neck and sank themselves into the sea. The methodists are in trouble.

The Methodist church can change their own rules, but that will NEVER make the word of God null and void. Scripture is clear and God will judge us ALL according to His word not the Methodist Church and their man made rules

Anyone who is affiliated with this "church" needs to abandon it completely. There's other real churches out there that won't ignore or water down God's word.
Jesus directly warns against choosing family over God. God comes first, for reasons like this. The church's rules were trying to protect this woman from damnation and now the church has helped damn her by changing the rule.
They say that the new teaching of the church is where "love" is at the center...For anyone that has read The Bible knows that God is described above all else as righteous. He is loving and caring but above all else he He is righteous; this is not righteous.
