Right after the UPS guy left yesterday, FedEx stopped by with another package I was eagerly anticipating. Yes, I was up at 3am pre-ordering this new iPad Pro, and no, I didn’t just do it for the review. I’ve spent two years waiting for this tablet, and it’s finally time to open it up.

Apple ignored the 9.7-inch form factor that made its tablet lineup famous, in favor for a larger and more TV-like variant. It was only a matter of time before the company realized that standard sized iPads are always the way to go, and if you're willing to add some Pro features to it, it would just give these more reason to re-gain popularity.

Am I the only one who doesn't mind camera humps that much? I mean if it's good, I don't really care.

I wish they would return to 'space black' like the 1st generation iPad Mini. I covered my 6+ space grey in a black slink wrap on the back to achieve this affect. It looks much better. Gold is a nice colour when you apply a black slick wrap to the front white bezels as it makes the home button standout more.

Love the 12.9" pro. Speakers are great and it's awesome for consuming content. It's not as heavy as I thought it would be and gets used a lot. Obviously it's not as good as say the surface pro series for doing big tasks but for basic stuff it gets the job done.

I'm lucky enough to have a work-supplied i7 Surface as my workhorse (astonishing machine!), but the smaller Pro would be such a great fit for me. I'm a extremely busy designer and the amount of breakfast, cafe and commute designing I do on paper, Note and tablet means that this form factor is compelling. Hope it's a good experience Jaime.

I just got my iPad Pro 9.7 Rose Gold 128GB yesterday. I was in dilemma to get either the new iPad pro or the surface 3 (non-pro). I went to the MS store the other day and checked out a couple of surfaces. I spent around an hour checking them out. I must say Windows 10 is very heavy on the Atom chip. The pen support was extremely bad. MS edge, One Note, MS word froze like three times while I was checking it. It was not the best option for me since I wanted something fast, snappy that opens the apps in seconds. I went to the Apple Store to check the iPad Pro today. I must say, there is no comparison at all. The App Store is so big, and all the apps just work if you need to get work done on the go. Windows PC is great, but there is a long way to go as being sufficient, snappy and portable like an iPad Pro 9.7. It is the perfect size and the most powerful computer of this size available right now.

I'm getting this and upgrading from the iPad Air 1st Gen. I have always had space grey products apart from my Gold and Midnight blue Apple Watch and I was thinking of getting the gold iPad pro but do the white boarders really stand out as much as they look like they do when consuming media I've never experience one so I genuinely have no idea myself. I might just stick with the classy black and space grey, I will also be buying the 128GB so I can finally have all of my pictures and videos seconds away instead of having to start up my desktop and be tied down to one area. I also am very creative and will definitely be getting the pencil, I was bodging it with a 3rd party pen on the air before they released it! And it will also be perfect if I go to uni for class and my Air was fantastic for writing up documents with a keyboard and sliding in my backpack with it weighing less then most of my books and no noisy fan or over heating, instant start up time. Absolutely brilliant.

What about the compatibility with the smart cover? I mean the cover while in flipped-over position now needs to have a hole to fit the camera hump.
