I love Raiden (Ei) and think she's great but there's been a LOT of drama with her release and there's one issue that NEEDS to be fixed. I don't normally make this video but i really care about this.

I am really passionate about this and I REALLY hope they can make this work, especially after changing the in-game wording instead of just fixing the issue. Hope you enjoyed the video!
Note: i feel like i have to clarify, an electro buff or an electro resonance buff can be nice, but either way this interaction has to be fixed. there's no reason for beidou-raiden to not work. (but im not against electro getting stronger)

It's also very important to mention (and I believe Zajef is really pushing this) that Mihoyo advertising Raiden with the description that her attacks count as hits (according to her C6), meaning she'd work with Beidou, and then intentionally making it so that it doesn't is false advertisement.

Yes they changed the description of the C6 (and gave us 100 primos), but that was after people had spent real money to get Raiden on the first day, which means players correctly assumed she would work with Beidou, and when it did not work, Mihoyo changed the text, a classic example of a bait and switch.

Whether the original description was intentionally false or if it was a mistake is irrelevent; the fact remains that people spent money for a product that did not do as it was advertised, and that is a great reason to advocate for a fix.

Honestly as an endgame player I've realised synergies are everything in this game, even if you main a selfish dps like Xiao, even he needs solid supports to do his thing

When you read Raiden's C1 it sounds even more like she was supposed to work with Beidou. Beidou is literally the only electro character with a high cost, high damage burst whose kit is built around that burst DPS.

Kinda funny how Raiden's banner's sale has been the most successful one in genshin history (partially thx to genesis crystal resets). If you check spiral abyss statistics, average constellation on clear using Raiden is actually more than c1, and Kujou's average constellation has been higher than Bennett's.

Edit: Most people don't really unlock C6 on Bennett for obvious reasons hence why he's lower. That being said, the statement about Raiden having higher avg. constellation compared to other limited 5 stars says something.

A change in Electro resonance would be good as well. Since they did buff Geo along with buffing Zhongli. A revamped electro resonance that add more dmg to electro affected unit + the chance to generate an Electro Elemental Particle would be nice and I don't think it's game breaking. I agree we don't need Raiden buff, I just want her to work with my number one 4star Beidou.

honestly, im quite disapointed in her energy restoration capability. she gives like 25 energy to the other characters per burst with her having 260er! like why mihoyo :"(. venti has a very good cc, zhongli has a very good shield. atleast let her excel in energy restoration

Yeah I completely agree. I'm absolutely loving baal, I feel bad complaining about her because as she is she's definitely strong enough. But nothing changes if you don't complain, and if her burst worked with Beidou's then she'd be so much more flexible, and i really don't think it'd make her completely busted, would just make her competitive.

Please, don't let this topic die in weeks, electro needs a rework too! Superconduct should shred Electro+Cryo resistance alongside physical so that Cryo+Electro teams could become a thing

It gets even worse if you think that maybe, some of the future characters will have the same mechanic as Beidou's burst. Meaning that there will be more characters that won't work with Raiden

If characters should be balanced around their element, then Keqing needs/deserves one hell of a buff

Imagine giving a free Beidou to everyone at start of Inazuma and then Raiden not working with her, from a billion dollar company... in a pve non competitive game.
All you theorycrafters saying the characters are balanced around their element; keqing wouldn't be dogshit then. You guys are giving Mihoyo waay too much credit, their balance and technical teams are extremely poor for a game of this magnitude. Beidou, fischl, keqing, bennett, xiangling... all launch characters with max beta time to balance, take a second to ponder their elements, their rarity *, and their balance lvl in the game.

Another reason that they should change it is also simply that it's finally a very strong option for fans of Electro. Agree with no buff needed, her damage seems to be good from what I've seen others do even on C0, considering she's designed to be support dps mainly (though it sucks that a LOT of damage is behind constellations). Another VERY good reason for fixing the interaction is that it avoids the problem of future units not working with Raiden Shogun, since it's it's very possible future units may have bursts or skills that activate on attacks like Beidou's burst.
