Tutorial: How to Make White/Yellow Cake Mix Substitute

You never know when you'll need this one:

Cake Mix:
2 1/2 cups (315g) flour
1 1/2 cups (300g) sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp vanilla sugar
Whisk the ingredients together. This will keep in a sealed container for months. (If you don't have access to vanilla sugar, add a tablespoon of vanilla extract to the directions of how to make the mix into a cake.)

How to make it into vanilla cake:
1 recipe cake mix
1 cup (225mL) milk
5 egg whites (for white cake) or 3 whole eggs (for yellow cake)
1/3 cup (75mL) oil
Whisk all ingredients together and pour into greased and lined cake pans. Bake at 350°F or 180°C for 35-50 minutes depending on the size of your pan.
