Mike was the friend I never met. His books and talks were life changing for me personally. Such humble wisdom, I will miss him greatly. Condolences to his family and friends.

I'm sitting here sobbing through the video. When I heard that all God wants is a family, it struck me like a lightening bolt because that's all I've ever wanted is a family and a father. I was given up for adoption but that didn't work. So, I've wandered through life looking for my daddy (Abba). Oh yes, God has been my father for years and I love him with all my heart and soul. Jesus Christ is my Savior. However, now I know that I'm a member of the best family ever.❤️

Its been more than 8 months and I still feel the loss and my heart goes out to his friends and family. Like others, and I never met the man but wish I had, with Dr. Heiser's insight into the Gospel and many other topics, I've been drawn back to both reading the bible (with a different perspective) and trying to be a better Christian (and I was very very far away for a long time). Every time his face pops up on YouTube or elsewhere (as he said, probably over 100, 000 times and doesn't know how it got there ;) ) it hits me over and over. Thank you for keeping his spirit, and teachings available.

I was introduced to Dr. Heiser through Steven Bancarz. He ministered to a lot of people that seem to be under-reached (or even ridiculed), addressing a lot of topics that I hardly ever hear Christians even discuss. That's something that I really appreciate.
