Don't tempt me. I might just end up living on the water.

One of the best compiled/edited videos on sail life for real. From one sailor/keyboard player to another.

I haven't watched any of your other videos, so my comment is purely base upon this one. It's very refreshing to see a creative make a sailing vid. The lack of excessive talking head is a relief, as is the lack of faux drama. The camera work is good, as is the scripting. Your condo sequences were well thought out and cut together. Overall, visuals are very good. As you move forward, might I suggest you build up some audio gear to properly capture the ambient and active sounds of your surroundings. Make sure your on camera mics have dead cats on them...very important !! Sometimes, blimps are required, particularly if you're trying to get clean audio in >20 knots. Whilst onboard, or heading to shore, consider mic'ing up yourself, and your passengers with wireless lav's, complete with dead kittens . Make sure you run separate tracks for vocals and tunes and keep the tunes lower in volume. Audio really is what makes a good vid great, it's sadly underestimated on you tube. If you've got the coin, try and pick up a ZOOM H6 or even a H5 will do, but the 6 is 32 bit float, a ZOOM F3 can be got second hand, is cheap and 32 bit float, but can't record scratch audio, so is a bit more involved. Bad video can squeeze past the gate keeper, but bad it'll screw you over every time. I enjoyed your little production, good luck and keep it up.

With the right sailboat, the world is your oyster. I spent 7 years cruising the world including a singlehanded circumnavigation in the high latitudes and it was one of the best times of my life. As Jimmy Buffett sang, "So many nights I just dream of the ocean, god I wish I was sailin' again". Fair winds and far places to you-all.

You always make your rigs look so homey! Just got myself a truck camper to make a home. Hopefully a boat is in my future when I get tired of the roads!

Luv ur low tech approach to ur map & use of camera shots, yeah.., after my life changing event, i moved into a catamaran sailboat where i spent time fixing & upgrading it before i took it out & explored the FLKeys & Bahamas for roughly 18mnths... one of my favorite memories, only issue was, im a big guy at 6'8 235lbs so getting around was, lets just say, challenging... ty for sharing ur story, no doubt these yrs will be memorable.. 😊

The condo in South Carolina was more like a Mc Mansion. Pretty sweet. Your wine tasting throughout the place was quite comical
