I brought a Possum in the house

I got this new dog on Craigs list. Not sure what kind he is. He's real sweet and likes kids, so I guess I'm gonna keep him.

Opossums are quite nice actually! No joke, they're almost always docile and never really bite even when pushed to the limits. They'll snarl and scream like demons, but it's all just a display. They have a super weak bite force, almost never get rabies because of their low body temperatures, and apparently they eat tons of bad pests like tics. Honestly, no reason to bother these little dudes typically. They're probably my favorite animals aside from crows/ravens.

Hello, opossums really don’t like being scruffed, it’s pretty painful, the most comfortable way to hold them is by the rear. Hope this helps ❤❤

They’re one of the most gentle creatures we have. They get a bad rap for looking mean but they’d rather play dead or flee than fight
