Hill's trade stayed secret because of one reason. There wasn't any animosity on either side. Hill believed he was worth the contract he got and so did the Chiefs, but they just couldn't afford to pay it. It was a business decision by both parties. It wasn't because one of the parties was unhappy with the other or feeling like they've been treated unfairly. That means no one is sneaking off to the press dropping hints or deleting their Instagram pictures.

Veach proved himself to be one of the absolute best GM’s after this years draft. He knocked it out of the park and got 5 players in the first 3 rounds that will be day one contributers

Say what you want but Veech is one the more open GMs when he is interviewed. Would love to see a long interview with him, it would be very interesting

a candid and insightful interview with one of the very best GMs in the league. after rebuilding the whole offensive line a year ago, he navigated an even more difficult offseason this year and knocked both free agency and the draft out of the park. the chiefs are lucky to have him.

I have to give Florio flowers for vids like this. I've been trashing his takes on the Hollywood Brown trade all week. This is where you shine my dude you are an expert interviewer and I always appreciate the curiosity you bring specifically when interviewing GMs.

This was a GROWN -MAN decision by both parties involved. Veach wanted to keep Hill and Hill wanted to stay but he had his price and Veach politely said we love you and respect your skill set but we can't afford you right now but you have our blessings to find a trade partner to satisfy your financial needs. Nothing personal, no whining or backstabbing just plain old fashioned business between men here. Tyreek is worth every penny but the Chiefs would have been dragged by the so called experts for paying him because of the state of their Defense. We had Hill for plenty of games last year and lost them because the defense didn't show up. This teams needs to be balanced and this trade allows them to get closer to being a balanced football team. Go Chiefs!!!

When he traded Tyreek .. talking heads called him dumb.. After the 2nd Superbowl win .. now he is a genius!

And Chiefs is getting better with more money and cap space to get better on both sides of the ball!

Veach thinks long term, wining the decade not the day.
Short term thinking is everywhere and gets one no where.

He is truly a gem for the Chiefs. Pay him as much as he wants to keep him around until he retires.

Everybody saw how much the division improved.. And the expectations are KC is gonna take a step back because of their key losses and no real big spending.. Lol its gonna make it that much sweeter when we win this division again with a bunch of new guys and rookies.

Please do one with Andrew berry but he doesn’t like to be open with the media. So he probably wouldn’t accept or it wouldn’t be as good as this one.
