I used to Arduino with RFID tag reader I hidden underneath the dashboard of a truck. The Arduino controlled relays that disabled the engines ECU.
I used a GPS module with a SIM card module to text my cellphone if a truck door was open and the RFID tag was not scanned within 60 seconds. Or if the GPS location moved without scanning the tag.
