I hope the trailer had a generator, because all the good lakes I'd travel to would be out of range. My truck can tow 4 of those trailers at once and cost 1/4 the price, the heater won't affect the range and the a/c would affect the range negligibly. I can go 1000km empty, or probably 800km with that trailer behind. Actually I could put both the tesla and the trailer on a gooseneck and pull it all probably 600km without needing to fill. And filling up would take 4 minutes at any corner station with diesel.

Do you think electric cars will replace diesel cars in terms of towing and carrying load?

300km with the caravan. No way! You will be lucky to get 200km.
My MX75D normal range is 310km. City maybe 340km. The caravan will reduce the range of about 30-40%.

The torque X produces equals to my 6.7 powerstroke does. As long as its chassis, suspension and brakes are tuned properly, X could be a towing machine no doubt

*2:24* Good video, but I disliked because you gave the absolute wrong price making the Tesla look like garbage, it ends at $160, 000 and starts at $78, 000... that is US price btw

Great for towing tractors out of airplane hangers using summon, with only one person.

This isn’t the way to be ‘green’ as to create the vehicle and it’s batter costs the environment substantially more than what most are lead to believe. Rare earth material mining is often devastating.

In holland they tested a P90D as a towcar. The range was seriously bad under normal driving conditions with a caravan on tow. The testers had to hitch the caravan to the back-up (petrol) car because the Tesla wouldn't gave made it home at all. Even without the caravan it reached home with a completely drained the claim is that it could make the trip with the caravan on tow. Caravaning is freedom....but not with an electric car as a towcar though.

This gives me a bad feeling I've seen Lipo type batteries over heat. The batteries start swelling followed by a quick fire ball.

Only good reviews are allowed on Youtube regarding Tesla cars or you will piss off Musk fans. Very dangerous.

Single axle camp trailer is dangerous.

Considering the size of Australian outback, "charge me baby one more time" Tesla is an epic piece of shit.
