Turkey proved it's an independant country and cannot be forced to buy US garbage as the europeans do. They deserve respect for their resistance to US bullying.

The U.S. Turkey dispute is not actually about the S 400 missiles themselves. It is about U.S. control of Turkey's military. Here is a precedent. When the U.S. overthrew the Iranian elected leader in 1853 and installed the Shah Reza Pahlevi as the U.S. dictator in Iran, it also armed, trained, and supplied the Shah with the so-called "Golden Plated"
U.S. weapons - which is street language means overpriced beyond belief. Now Iran also buys the Russian $ 300 anti-aircraft missiles, and with Turkey buying Russian S400 missiles, the U.S. is mad at Turkey for for exposing the U.S. anti-aircraft missiles industry as inferior, and, of course, losing the $ 2.5 billions sale! So proud with Turkey. Turks asked us USA for patriots and they got denied in obama administrations, and now we are jelous and crying about turks making their own decision! we need to stop putting our noses in every countries businesses. We are allies allies need to help each other, when turks asked for help we denied them but we always helped pkk and ypg organizations for years so they can atack turkey from inside. Turkey made a huge mistake. They would have received state-of-the-art F-35s from America if they would have bit the bullet and scrapped this deal with Russia. Which is better, an F-35 deal or these S-400s? Keep in mind an F-22 can take out any S-400 or F-35 in any situation. In many ways it is best Turkey goes to the East. Their tenure in NATO is short-lived
