Watching this, you realize that, even though dunks are thought to be the quintessential statement of power in basketball, having a player pluck your shot out of the air (like in #7) and come down with it, is pretty awe-inspiring. And pretty rare.

I know Mcgee is known for the Shaqtin stuff but I think he is a decent player and just needs to be taught and be used by a good organization. When he got in Golden state, they are using him correctly even though its just lobs mostly but it still an improvement!

I've always loved watching Javale. Yes, at times he makes some plays that make you scratch your head. But the man is crazy athletic and capable of making some tremendous plays like you see in this video as well.

#7 was easily his best play ever. He snatch blocked a dunk...nuff said

What I appreciate about this compilation is that this is from his pre-Golden State days. I.e. The time period when Shaqtin’a’Fool was basically the Javale McGee Blooper Reel Show. Goes to show you that even during the low point of his career when he seemed to be making dumb ass plays left and right, he still made outstanding plays like these. Especially on the defensive side of the ball.
