A portapotty in your herb garden is a lawsuit, beyond the obvious disrespect they destroyed the garden. The contaminates can cause some serious illnesses, you have to completely uproot that garden and replace it now. That includes soil. Some contractors are just trash.

(We could have the burger patties but we couldn't make a burger because buns are toasted to order that late and toppings can be saved for the next day.) We also had production guides that would tell us how much food to make for the last hour because we shut down and started cleaning the flame broiler and all but one fryer, for fries only, during the last hour of business. Manager comes out and has to record how much food was cooked but not sold and when she asked about the crispy chicken breast patty she was shocked that we had 4 of them, it was the most expensive sandwich we sold at the time and the production chart only estimated that we might sell one, so why would we have 4? The newest closer on the team wanted at least 2 of them for free so he figured he'd cook extra so he could take them home for free at the end of the night. That was the end of that, all food goes in the trash now.

as someone who works at a restaurant and is relatively concerned about health that list of rules is so unbelievably stupid, if someone wants to just order an "appetizer" instead of doing the whole multiple course bs not only is that better for them, better for everyone who actually does real work there but it also means they might actually come back next time and try something new instead of exhausting all of your options that they might like in 2 trips, getting return customers by oppressing them only works for massive corporations not small businesses

My cousin worked in a supermarket with a bakery where they started throwing out all cakes and bread too. The reason for this was that before the employees were allowed to take whatever didn't sell home but some of them started hiding cakes just so they could take them home for free by the end of the day. They had to shut down that they could take things home because of that.

As someone who watches more subtitled stuff than not; Companies are pumping these subtitles out so fast. Extremely bad grammar is common, spelling errors less so but still common enough to annoy. That said, most of the time it is still of a higher quality than the garbage that makes it into translated books and whatnot.
