Thank you, Thank you, Thank We called Princess and asked them about the black Fridays deals after watching your video. On our Western Caribbean Cruise in April they knocked down our base rate on the mini suite from 1549 per person to 1299 per person. You saved us $550.00! Then we asked about our 10 day in March of 2020. They had something called 3 free perks deal for black Friday. They knocked our base rate on the club class mini suite from 2899 per person to 2859. savings us $80. Then they gave us $200 per person on board credit (400). and free gratuities $145 per person. (290) so a total savings of $1320 for both cruises! We are thrilled!!!

I booked my cruise on Cyber Monday and it afforded me a suite that I probably would never have been able to afford otherwise. Now I have an entire year to scope out the deals on excursions and drinks!

Good info! You got me so excited!!! I immediately went to the Royal Caribbean cruise planner to check this out. I am booked on the Symphony of the Seas in August 2019. This special is just what I needed, I could maybe get the deluxe drink package at a price where I could afford it and not feel like I had to commit suicide by alcohol to make it pay for itself!

Wrong answer! In true American retailer fashion, Royal pumped up their prices and then applied the discount. To further suck you in when you look in cruise planner the price shown is after the discount (and by the way it is about what the normal price WAS, so you think great now to apply my discount!) Not so fast. You put it in the shopping cart and go to check out and you see the final number and it is about what you were looking to pay before these great Black Friday deals came out.

Hi Don! We have a cruise on NCL Getaway in January 2020, and on Star Princess in May 2020. Would you recommend I call each cruise line directly that weekend to see if they have any specials? Actually, if there are any updates for Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2019, would you please make a video on deals/discounts for currently booked cruises and/or future cruises? Yup, took advantage of NCL black friday special for free/reduced airfare on my already reserved Western Caribbean cruise in Apr'19. Paid $195 CAD pp for round trip flight from YYZ to MIA. Can't beat that!
