I bought my 205 DS months ago from the a Tractor Supply. I broke it out a couple days ago when the shop’s big Lincoln 256 gave me some trouble. I thought cleaning out the dust in the feed mechanism would cure it but I think the gun needs a liner. Anyway, the 205 did an identical bead, seemed to get great penetration and wasn’t too difficult to set up. Gotta get used to the settings

Great video! Do you have any insight on just setting up the synergistic mode? I can set mine up in manual mig, but am having trouble understanding what is being displayed when trying to set up synergistic.

I love mine. great video.. The only thing I don't like is that in Synergistic Mode for Flux Core...it only allow you to choose .35 wire... not the other wire choices like .30. The 250 Pro does the same thing. However the 200 Pro (more expensive) allows to choose any choice of wire. Other that...awesome unit. Play with your induence with synergistic mig (6)

I’m loving all your videos. Thanks for all the great content! BTW is that galvanized steel you’re welding here? The stuff is super toxic to breathe while welding and I noticed the room was pretty smoky afterwards. Be careful man.

So in your opinion how does this welder compare to the Forney 140 mp???
In other words which one would you recommend for a beginner???
