I remember when it was only $6.99 for Netflix in general.

Dropping netflix by not using my families before 2019 was a great idea and money saving.

I think ill stick to Hulu with Ad's since im used to seeing ad's on the platform.

This is why people should not have stopped going to places like Blockbuster. Even if you couldn't afford to rent movies i could get all my manga and used games there.

I just stopped my Netflix a couple months ago so I could get caught up on some watch parties with some friends on a couple shows on HBO max. When I eventually find something I want to watch on Netflix, I might do the ad supported plan only if there are shows I just want to watch by myself. For watch parties to stay in sync, everybody has to be on non-advertising supported plans.

Why are people complaining.

At £4.99 a month, you get 30 seconds to 1 minute of ads per 60/90 minutes. (Which everyone knows noone watches as it is time to go to toilet, make a cup of tea etc).
Plus 2 devices can watch, so I can watch on the TV and child can watch upstairs on laptop.

Absolutely no brainer to save £3 a month and have a better service, as before only 1 device could watch.

Why are people complaining when it is 1. Cheaper and 2. Offering more.

Nope. I recently changed to all of my streaming services without ads and I don’t regret it at all! I’ll stick with the $15 a month Standard HD plan.

I'm glad to hear that the Netflix Basic Plan is going to be in HD (720p) rather than SD (480p). If I'm gonna be watching Netflix at least on a 32 inch screen, it has to be 1080p. But if I'm only gonna be watching Netflix on my phone or laptop, then it wouldn't be a bad idea to go with 720p.

I wouldn't sign up because your saying you can't even access all the Netflix content lik wat are they thinking its a no for me because of that and also they can add at least 1 more stream in there

Ok, I sign up for the $6.99 plan and began clicking on the movies that I wanted to watch and ever time a message would come and say this movie can not be watch on the device, , (the device is my
tv), , and after trying for a few mins I called to cancel the plan and was told that I can could cancel
but would charged for that month, and I got mad and held at the rep. and she finally agreed to cancel and refund my money, , So be aware this is netflix scam and they want you to up grade to the $15.99 plan

We've stopped using Netflix. It's a total waste. 99% of it is crap. Then the cost--or the ads. SO MANY ADS. My life is going by. I resent ads so much that I GO OUT OF MY WAY NOT TO BUY/USE anything in the ads. And I know I'm not alone!

Hey Michael finally got all my devices updated to the new Roku 11.5 I have Netflix and i dont use it that much. I am thinking about dropping down to a lower tier from$22.00 to $6.99 .I dont think ill miss the resolution too much because my TV upscales pretty good.

No Netfix for me of any sort. I dropped it long ago.

720p is a deal breaker. Charge a few more dollars and give me Ads with 4k, and I am in.

Just wondering how many series and movies you can’t watch with the basic with ads

We had Netflix for years but we stopped this year when they increased their prices again. I was interested in the ad option for 6.99. BUT only for a 720 option. Piss off Netflix!
Plex it is

Oh no that's very bad for an ad supported plan. To hell with Netflix. I'll go back to renting exactly what I wanna see.

No. Basic was already 720p. They just added an advert version.
Except now it's Standard with ads, so the same as standard (1080p + 2 viewers)
